An adventure with the seasons & spices.
Join me in the kitchen for a culinary adventure as I share my secrets to cooking vibrant and sumptuous feasts with seasonal produce inspired by cuisine from Africa and beyond that you can easily recreate at home.
Our classes in London take place at the London Cooking Project, a beautiful kitchen and restaurant space in South West London. The kitchen is involved in a lot of community projects, with food programmes that feed the less privileged to food waste and sustainability programmes. The menu can be changed due to seasonal availability.

A special treat for any occasion with a bespoke menu created for you. With fine ingredients provided for your feast. Choose your favourite foods from West African, East, South, North African and more, pick your favourite themes from Brunch, Canapés & Cocktails, Sunday Roasts to Vegan & Vegetarian Feasts. Minimum of 5 people in your venue & 10 in my kitchen in Battersea. Prices from £75, including canapes, welcome cocktails, 3-course meal & Tea.

‘Zobo’ Cocktail and canapés on arrival 
A welcome glass of my homemade brew of hibiscus flowers, seasonal berries and prosecco (non-alcoholic available)

Roasted Cauliflower with Suya peanut butter
Seasonal florettes of cauliflower with a wonderful nomadic suya spices mix which you will create.

Jollof Quinoa Salad with Chicory & Charred Cherry Tomatoes
Sweet, spicy healthy grains cooked in a rich traditional West African stew.

Plantain Shakshuka with roasted peppers & Free range eggs or garden eggs (for vegans ) 

Sweet plantains grilled and cooked in a rich tomato sauce, finished off with poached eggs on top with fresh basil. West & North African marriage of flavours. One of my favourite recipes for a delightfully unique brunch.

*Banana Akara with Blueberry & Date Compote

A sweet treat, with the banana version of this famous West African food also loved by the Brazilians  


Our cookery class is very hands-on, as we chop, peel and cook together. After cooking, you will sit to enjoy your meal.
Included are welcome drinks, the use of aprons, all cooking equipment, ingredients and recipes of the day. You can also bring your favourite drinks. (BYOB)
Limited spaces are available for each class to ensure a bespoke lesson so it's a good idea to book early before they sell out.
The cookery classes are a special treat and can make for the perfect presents. You can book a single cookery class for yourself, as a gift for friends, family or for a group. A voucher can be emailed to the recipient for gift purchases.
