Treat your team and clients to a splendid day cooking and feasting on vibrant and healthy African inspired food with seasonal produce. A great treat for special launches, Christmas parties and more.
Join me for a culinary adventure as I share my secrets to cooking vibrant and sumptuous feasts with seasonal produce inspired by cuisine from Africa and beyond. These classes are inspired by my days cooking on live television in Africa. Whether I am teaching people physically or on television, I find so much joy in sharing good food with people especially celebrating vibrant African cuisine married with great British seasonal produce.
Your cookery session will start with cocktails and canapés followed by an introduction to African cooking, the regional inspirations for recipes on the menu, spices and unique African produce and superfoods. I will share my secrets to both traditional and contemporary African foods and how you can incorporate them in your cooking using the best of the season to dazzle friends and family.
The menu includes sharing feasts perfect for cooking as a team, as you peel, chop and cook together before toasting with wine and sharing a long table feast with the entire group. The menu ranges from West African to North African delights. My vegan and vegetarian dishes are very popular and a bespoke menu will be created to suit your group, also taking into account allergies and dietary requirements
See the sample menu below.
My cookery class is very hands-on, as we peel, chop and cook together. You will challenge one another in an exciting cook-off, and create 3 courses through communication and teamwork. After cooking, you will sit to enjoy your meal with wines especially matched with your feast. Cooking lasts for 2 - 3 hours with an hour to feast.

Do give Lerato’s Supper club a try. She does get sold out pretty quickly so have a look at her website for regular updates. I really enjoyed the experience of trying new food with interesting people in new surroundings.
"A wonderful Sunday afternoon well spent! The Food tasted divine and the preparation and cooking part was very enjoyable. I went alone and met some lovely people! I look forward to sharing the recipes with friends and family (who by the way are already lining up for me to make at home after seeing photos I shared). Would highly recommend. Thank you again Lerato!"
