As a professional chef, cookery writer and former tv chef, I set up the kids cookery club after many parents in our adult cookery classes expressed an interest in empowering their children to learn to cook and broaden their horizons.
After working on tv for a few years, I have grown a community of food lovers for catering, media publishing, top brands and clients such as Tilda Rice, Le Creuset, Neptune Homes, Miele and more with cookery schools run across London and the South East and in collaboration with the likes of Wefifo & Waitrose Cookery School. I am also a regular contributor on BBC Sussex & Surrey, where I share recipes on air with listeners. Our new cookery school in Eastbourne is much needed in the community, to inspire and empower us to eat well and to bring people together. Read more about me here.
Cooking as an important life skill
They will learn and develop knife skills, social skills, how to work as a team, confidence in the kitchen, how to cook complete meals from different parts of the world and most importantly, independence.
