Parents & Kids Cookery Class - Tagines & Moroccan Feasts

Cooking with family is not only great fun but a good way to share food and new memories together. In our cooking class, you will learn tips and tricks to cooking healthy, wholesome and indulgent meals from roasts, sumptuous dips, delicious grains, whole foods and more. Does your child love cooking or are you looking to spark their interest and start them on a path of independence, are you looking for inspiration for wholesome and healthy meals you can also cook together, do you want to teach your child foods of the world? This is just the treat for you.
Enjoy a North African adventure with your little ones as you cook a feast to transport you to the kasbahs of Morocco. You will learn to use spices, seasonal produce and scrumptious vegetables to create wonderful and healthy meals.
Our cookery session will start with an introduction to Moroccan spices. You will learn to make recipes like your own spice blend of ras-el-hanout, a fabulous brunch of the famous shakshuka or a tagine with a rainbow of vegetables in a traditional tagine pot, the perfect couscous and more.

Moroccan Batbout - Semolina flatbread to scoop and dip delicious sauces & dips
Learn to make beetroot hummus, a delicious and fun dip to dollop on everything from sauces to sandwiches
Shakshuka - North African famous brunch with eggs (or baby aubergines for egg-free option) poached in a rich tomato sauce (Vegan shakshuka available. Please let us know your dietary requirements)
Vegetable Tagine - A mild and aromatic dish with carrots, chickpeas, sweet peppers, courgettes, red onions & apricots
served with Lemon & Herb Couscous with pomegranates - you will learn to cook the perfect couscous with fresh herbs and a zesty dressing

You will leave with inspiration and confidence to recreate the recipes cooked in our class, and recipes provided for you to use at home. This class is tailored to you, please book and choose your own dates. Write to email@example.com to make a request.
Classes take place in my home or in our pop up cookery location and the address will be sent upon booking.
Classes are £75 and includes, 1 parent & 1 free child between 7 & 15 years old. Tickets can be booked for additional children and adults. Maximum of two children per adult. (Older slightly younger kids may be allowed if parents are confident of their skill levels)

Our cookery class is a combination of hands-on cooking and demonstrations, as we chop, peel and cook together. You will sit to enjoy your creations or take it all home afterwards. Parents must book alongside their children and cook with them during this class.
Included are welcome drinks, the use of aprons, all cooking equipment, all ingredients, wine or beer with your dinner, with juices and fruit cordials for your child.
Limited spaces are available for each class to ensure a bespoke lesson so it's a good idea to book early before they sell out.

We cater for vegan, vegetarian & gluten-free diets. Parents are required to notify us of any allergies or intolerance and sign to confirm that they have been notified before class commences. Please contact us to discuss more and we can go through the menu with you and offer alternatives if required.
