Our tour begins in vibrant Brixton, where you will immerse yourself in its vibrant African food scene. Rich with its strong history of African and Caribbean influences, you’ll learn about a diverse range of foods from across the continent with a chance to sample them and also see what to look out for in the shops so that you too can cook them at home.

Borough Market

 For the second part of our tour you will experience one of the most iconic food markets in London. Here I’ll introduce you to one of my favourite spice merchants with a vast variety of spices from across Africa and the world. Here you can find many spices used in my cookbook and for a variety of dishes from Moroccan tagines to Ethiopian!

This season we will explore restaurants from across Africa including Akara London in Borough Market.
