Over the years, I have enjoyed bringing people together to share memorable experiences at cooking classes, immersive dining events and more. I have been blessed with the privilege to share African recipes and stories from my childhood and travels, far and wide, and especially through my award winning cookbook AFRICANA. Now, you too can enjoy these heartwarming experiences with me as we travel across Africa together, one destination at a time. We will visit incredible countries to celebrate their rich culture and food, while making new friends and memories. Join me for a holiday of a lifetime.
Who are our holidays for?
Although I call these cooking holidays, our holidays are retreats for food lovers, that combine relaxation, culture, and an abundance of organic, fresh and seasonal food while learning to cook both traditional and modern recipes that you can apply to your own home cooking, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you. The very first person who booked our first holiday absolutely hates cooking but she loves food. So, if you love food, you will love joining me on these wonderful holidays.
Looking after the people & the planet
To give back to the people who have looked after us and inspired this journey, I will be supporting community projects and organisations that work to empower the locals of our host countries, especially organisations that protect women and children, those who provide opportunities for good jobs, adequate healthcare and education for families. And to look after our planet, I have also combined my love of food, travel and sumptuous comfort, with regeneration and sustability, by working with partners who are eco-conscious and active. I am working with those who create spaces like our solar powered lodges in Ghana & Morocco and all our future locations, including farms, community gardens and organisations who provide organic produce for our feasts and cookery classes. These are the values that I care about and support and by joining my holidays you are supporting them too.

Through our travels we will endeavour to give back to our host country, by empowering local people from our tour guides, cooks, drivers to local producers such as chocolate makers, shea butter producers, organic growers and all who we work with to provide us an enriching experience. A percentage of profits will be donated to a chosen charity after each trip. And time permitting, we will endeavour to visit an impactful social enterprise that is making a difference in the community. Our chosen social enterprise for Ghana is Cocoa 360. A pioneering organisation that seeks to create sustainable living conditions for children to thrive; by providing farm land for families to earn, healthcare and non-fee paying schools.
