Now and again I love to bring my friends together, both old and new to share our great love of food and that special feeling of being together! Join me for a heartwarming feast with enchanting flavours as we cook and enjoy a wonderful time together from the comfort of our homes.
I will lead our cook-along by teaching a 3-course menu that is just a treat for the season. You can cook-along with me or sit back and join in the conversation. Feel free to relax and participate however you feel most comfortable. Invite your family and friends, those you know will be alone this Christmas, as laughter, companionship, great food, comfort and inspiration will be on offer.
*In order to keep our gathering private and because we have limited capacity, this cook-along is only open to our newsletter subscribers. Once subscribed please register to attend the event to secure your space and to receive the ingredients list and login details.
Date: Sunday, 12th December, 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm GMT
Menu
Plantain Holly CanapésYassa with Apples with Rosemary Roasted Vegetables
Seasonal apples with the vibrant Senegalese sauce of caramelised onions and lemon. I first created this version of Yassa for my cookery demo at Taste of Autumn at the Royal Horticultural Society in Wisely.

I adore chocolate and I adore chai. I will teach you to make your own chai blend to be used in this decadent yet super easy dessert.
*The menu can be adapted to most diets and you can pair the main with your favourite proteins or vegetables. Chicken, Fish, Lamb, Aubergine, Mushrooms…
Where will the cook-along take place?
Online using the Zoom App. Please download the Zoom app here
What do you need?
A list of ingredients will be sent to you a week before our cook-long, and you are encouraged to customise your meals to suit your diet and preference. Options and substitutes will be suggested on the list.
Let us know what you are most excited to cook and feel free to ask any questions! Please don’t forget that you can invite friends, especially someone who might be spending this season alone. Our food clubs and supper clubs are a lot of fun and with fantastic company.
More news to come, as I will be resuming virtual cookery classes for the public, and with recipe kits. Dates and menus for January Veganuary and for February are ready. You can see more below. For now, I am looking forward to recovering over the holidays after the busiest year of my life. You will soon find out why! I simply cannot wait to see you all!
